The Political Party "Smokescreen"...

So here's what we got...,

 - The House of Representatives is now predominantely Republican, but the Democrats still have the Senate. What does this mean for America?...does the interior decoration of the House get changed to a primarily red colour?...do donkey motiffs get replaced with elephants?...some believe that it will bring conservatism back into Our Government whereas a liberal agenda was taking the forefront. Really?...I thought there were repubicans IN the House for the past two years...O.o Maybe we need to take a closer look at what all these parties mean...

Republican: An advocate of a republic, a form of government that is not a monarchy or dictatorship, and is generally associated with the rule of law.
Democrat: An advocate of a democracy, a form of government where power is derived from the people, either by direct referendum or by means of elected representatives of the people.

 - Hmm...okay, well...one's against a monarchy and/or dictatorship and the other...well, is kinda for the same darn thing (government derived by the people). Okay, no worries...one seems to be focused on laws whilst the other seems to focus on individual representation - both are good, not too sure why there's a difference. Perhaps we need to look a bit further:

Conservative: is a political and social philosophy that promotes the maintenance of traditional institutions and supports, at the most, minimal and gradual change in society.

Liberal: is a political and social philosophy that promotes the importance of individual liberty and equal rights.
 - Odd, it kind of sounds like they're both talking about the same thing...but in different ways (kind of using different adjectives to describe the same object. Just like one person calling a pipe 'skinny' and another person says it's 'long' doesn't change the fact that it's a 'long, skinny pipe'. Regardless of political affiliation...we all want our rights protected, and I believe, in regarding my fellow countrymen - thier equal, unalienable rights. So is there a difference?...and if so, why?
 - There's a series of political party combinations that exist in Our Nation today...there's liberal republican, conservative democrat...I've even heard of a liberal conservative (?!). Even new ones are cropping up...such as the progressive libertarian:

Progressive: An advocate of a form of goverment that promotes changes or reform through governmental action.

Libertarian: is a political and social philosophy that promotes individual liberty, especially freedom of thought and action.
 - Okay, I can understand that - it even says that under Article V of the United States Constitution:
"The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution..."
 - I'm not even too sure why there's even a new political party being addressed...directly (and indirectly) they're ALL talking about the same blasted thing! Personal freedom, equal protection under the law and limited government - EVERY American citizen wants these things, every single person. So...why are there political parties at all?

 - Don't be fooled...

 - This has absolutely NOTHING to do with being liberal, conservative, libertarian, republican, democratic or even tea-partier...stay focused. This has absolutely EVERYTHING to do with the issues at hand...and these issues affect EVERYONE, regardless of the 'political smokescreen'. Perhaps even as far back as the 'Industrial Era', politics has gravely shifted towards the surreal and America is finally waking up to the realizations that there's been an undisclosed party present which has been working behind the scenes...corporate lobbyists, slush funds and foreign investments in political campaigns...
 - "The First American", Benjamin Franklin, at the signing of the Declaration of Independence of 1776 to John Hancock's comment that 'they must all hang together' replied:

"Yes, we must, indeed, all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately."

 - Surely, times have changed...that was over 250+ years ago, who (if anyone) is America seeking independence from? Follow the money regarding the campaign funds regarding the mid-term elections...and you'll have a start towards the answer you seek. When an American willfully an intentfully seeks to deny another citizen of the United States thier rights for thier own personal gain...is a sad day for America, indeed.
 - Back in 1776 there were NO political parties whatsoever, politcal parties are just a discriminatory group's ideaologies and NOTHING MORE. FOCUS on the issues, REAL issues and not a bunch of rhetorical nonsense that does absolutely NOTHING but convolutes the issues and encourages narrow-mindedness. Refuse to have YOUR mind teethered by myopic dogma - Our Nation can ill-afford to be steeped in narcissism now. Our Constitution, Our Rights - IN THAT EXACT SAME ORDER, should be the ONLY thing we are concerned about regarding government. Our Nation will stabilize if the aforementioned priorities are acknowledged and accepted as Truth.

"Radix malorum est cupiditas" - greed is the root of evil.

M.D. Little.
