Life has "NO VALUE" (...an objective look at the monetary system...).

- As I continue to search for a sound, logical reason to support the current existing monetary based economy I stumbled across and editorial in the Seattle Times that professed that everyone should 'try and contribute to society ins some way'. I was astounded at the statement for it alluded to the ideology, perhaps unwittingly, that life (...in and of itself...) had...no...value. Far be it for me to discount such a claim...the writer of said article (...whom I will elect to keep anonymous...) I would regard as a myopic nihilist, but I wouldn't go so far as to consider said individual as having 'no value'. However, if an individual is not working and paying thier taxes...this is exactly what is being suggested - fiat currency has more value then life itself.

 - This, by all means, is not an isolated incident...tensions have been building in Europe over the tenable collapse of thier uniform fiat currency - the Euro and, as in America, immigrants are blamed for 'taking all the jobs' that the native citizens were simply unwilling to do in the first place. Now in Europe, as in America, social services provided on a State and Federal level (...funded via taxation...) are being overtaxed causing those who have been fortunate enough to NOT have thier jobs outsourced (...or taken over by those willing to do thier job for a lesser salary...) to despise those maintaining a tentative hold on life through the aid of said social services in the current depressed job market and, rather arrogantly, to expect them to 'try and contribute to society in some way' or are otherwise considered to have 'no value'...

 - I cannot help by note the absolute absurdity of such claims...HOW can and individual have NO VALUE when EVERYONE contributes simply just by being alive?! Even a comatose individual contributes simply through the act of breathing - taking in oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide which is vital and necessary for plants that, in turn, convert carbon dioxide into oxygen which makes up the atmosphere that we breath: EVERYONE CONTRIBUTES (...by default, unconsciously...) BY LIVING! I was told by an acquaintence (...whom I will also elect to keep anonymous...) that it was 'human nature' to take that which is 'free' for granted...I was amazed and wondered if he had a strong disdain for breathing...

 - Obviously, breathing is not the ONLY way everyone contributes by default of thier inherent nature...everyone thinks and conveys thier ideas through thier words and deeds. Quantum Physics was NOT founded in a University, it was founded by a Third Rank Postal Clerk by the name of Albert Einstein. Now not all ideas have a positive impact on the human condition as a whole, but NO IDEA has NO VALUE. Even bad ideas have value as a means to understand what NOT to do. For example: viciously beating someone until, fearful of thier livlihood, submit to violent non-consensual intercourse SHOULD be inherently understood as a BAD IDEA due to the psychological trauma inflicted upon the victim (...assuming they survived the incident...). However, some religious sects regard RAPE as a 'premarital ceremony' and that is a REALLY BAD IDEA. Rapists should be incarcerated for life in order to protect the general public from such aberrant sociopathic behaviour (...or have thier sex organs surgically removed...) but rapists, of course, would think THAT was a 'bad idea'. Unfortunately, in some States in America, a sex offender can pay a fee to be taken off of the sex offender watch list after just one year of not committing said offense and ANY rape victim or parent of a molested child would consider THAT...a bad idea.
 - Knowledge - ALL Knowledge - is Virtue" - Socrates, 469 BC - 399 BC.
 - I am inclined to agree for all ideas have value. What needs understood is what ideas are BENEFICIAL to the human condition as a whole. Dumping toxic waste into rivers and streams should be inherently understood as a BAD IDEA simply by the nature of what is being dumped - toxic waste. Just as patent suppression is employed to prevent technological advancement in order to maintain market share value of preexisting technology is a BAD IDEA...-REGARDLESS- of how much 'profit' a corporation stand to gain by doing so...

 - All life and all ideas have value; everyone actively 'contributes to society in some way' through word and deed by thought and breath; therefore, everyone inherently deserves access to the necessary resources required for life by default of thier inherent nature by being alive. To deny access to necessary resources for life by willfully polluting, contaminating or simply restricting access by force of said resources is murder, and to support aforementioned ideology is nothing short of appending tyranny...and as history has proven time and time again, THAT...is a bad idea.
"He that is of the opinion money will do everything may well be suspected of doing everything for money." - Benjamin Franklin (January 17, 1706 - April 17, 1790).
 - Why do we insist on holding onto an outdated methodology of resource acquisition when we already know it is archaic and the cause of the vast a majority of issues occuring today? If a hammer is broken...it does little good to stand around and complain about the hammer and even less sense to keep trying to use the broken tool. What is needed is a newer, more applicable tool for the task at hand and that task being the provision of necessary resources to support life of humanity overall. There have been concepts already proffered. Please research the Venus Project and the Resource Based Economy for more information regarding thusly. Thank you for your time...

'Christianity for Dummies'

I have an emphantic dislike for hypocrites...,

 - Normally I'm not prone to religious debates, but I feel compelled to say that if there was anyone who's ever actually -READ- the Bible (...regardless of edited version...) that they would most likely feel the same way...which promptly explains why there are so few who actually despise the rampant amount of hypocracy which exists in today's society (...and that's only regarding the current existing political and religious leaders...).
 - I see biblical scripture taken out of context on a daily basis and employed to support one atrocity after another which has lead me to ponder whether or not there were, in all actuality, -ANY- 'Christians' in existance whatsoever. My contemplations were derived from my knowing of another (...whose name I elect to keep private...) who saught to commence forthwith 'The Great Commission'.
 - I was lead to believe the said 'commission' was all that was expected to be 'a Christian' - Matthew 28:19...

"Therefore go an make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..."
 - Some say that this is all that there is to know in order to be considered 'a Christian' and -THAT- is a flat-out lie - Matthew 28:20...

"...and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you..."
 - Oops, there's more? Yes, alas...there is more to 'Christianity' then trying to make disciples - you're supposed to obey 'the Commandments' and what, exactly, are these 'commandments'? Matthew 22:37...

"...Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind..."
 - ...-AND- (...yes, there is more...) Matthew 22:39...

"...Love your neighbor as yourself."
 - Compiled together, 'The Great Commission' encapsulates 'The Greatest Commandment', thus, the entirity of the Bible -AND- 'the commission' expected of -ALL CHRISTIANS- goes as follows...

"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you: Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and all of your soul and all of your mind; and Love your neighbor as yourself."
 - That's it, the Bible in abridged form - 'Christianity for Dummies', simple enough for anyone to understand...

"Christianity is a great idea...when are they going to start putting it into practice?" - Jacque Fresco, Founder of The Venus Project.
 - I have to agree...
