The Right and Wrong Way of Recalling a State Official...

Fellow Citizens of this Great Nation...,

 - We apparently have some individuals who do not wish to follow proceedure in regarding Our Elected Public Servants. We have those who seek Elected Public Positions via employing innappropriate means and methods of describing HOW said positions should be attained. We have individuals who clearly do not understand the method unto which firearms SHOULD be employed. Ladies and Gentlemen, today...we're going to discuss Recalling a State Official...
 - As to date, there have been NO State Officials Recalled from office...this is stated only as a means to inform the public that (at the current time and moment) this proceedure has not been employed successfully...what it does NOT say is that it does not work. I am inclined to believe that the lack of Elected Public Officials recalled is due to the uneducated citizenry unfamiliar with the process in order to remove an Elected Public Servant from office. Here is what it takes in order to proceed:

A state representative is put into office by voters from his home state. When those voters are unhappy with their representative's performance, they may call for a recall. It's a long and difficult process and there are certain steps that need to be followed to recall a state representative.

Instructions
  • 1) Consider the state you live in. Only 18 states allow their residents to recall their state official. If you live in one of these states, proceed with the recall of your state representative.
  • 2) Decide why you want to recall your state representative. In 7 of the 18 states allowing recall elections, you must meet specific grounds for recall. There is no such requirement in the other 11 states.
  • 3) Start petitioning. You'll need a significant number of signatures to recall your state representative. The number differs by state but is usually a certain percentage of voters in the last election.
  • 4) Know the time limits. You will only have a certain amount of time to circulate your petition anywhere from 30 to 180 days. Learn the rules in your state and abide by them.
  • 5) Vote in the recall election. If you get enough signatures on your petition, a recall election will be granted. The ballot will ask if you think the state representative should be recalled-vote "yes" here.
Tips and Warnings
  • The following are the 18 states where state representatives can be recalled: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and Wisconsin. The District of Columbia also allows recalls.
  • On the ballot of the recall election, some states simply ask if the state representative should be recalled. Others will hold an election during the recall. This fills the seat left open by the state representative who was recalled.
  • Part of the recall process is notifying the person being recalled and giving him a chance to respond. This is true of all 18 states although it happens at different times in the process.
 - Note: be it here known that even though only 18 States (thus far) allow for an Elected Public Servant to be recalled does NOT mean those will ONLY be the States. Contact your State Legislature and request for the authority to recall your State's Elected Public Servants, make it an issue and bring it up with either petitions and/or policies to be introduced in the upcoming elections. At the most extreme of occurences, know that an Elected Public Servant can be brought down on charges of TREASON if they fail in thier duty to thier constituents.
 - An Elected Public Servant is NOT a permenant position...it's only held by those who do thier job and thier BOSS, thier EMPLOYER is We, the People. They get paid by us through Our tax dollars...and it is through those tax dollars whom those Elected Public Servants are ultimately accountable for, and that is We, the People. It is Our responsibility to ensure that the Elected Public Servants are doing thier job and REMOVE THEM from office when they show themselves incapable of performing thier basic job functions via either Recalling them or (if sufficient proof permits) to bring to trail on the charge of Treason.
 - What We, the People, will NOT do...is take a firearm to a meeting held by an Elected Public Servant and proceed to open fire as if one is hunting quail. This is moronic, utterly devoid of reason and entirely side-steps the policies and proceedures Our Forefathers have set before us to resolve issues in a civil matter and only a CRIMINAL inviolates the law. We are BETTER then this, America...far better then this. I would like to take this time to express my sincere sympathy for those whom lost loved ones in Arizona as well as the near fatal shooting of Representative Gifford. This action commenced I equate no better then the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, John Kennedy and others...
 - We, the People, run this Nation and it is up to us to proceed forthwith and ACT like it. We carry forth with integrity, pride, self-assurance, honour. We elect Our Public Servants...We are Responsible for them. We have the means to remove them from office, hence, we are Accountable for them. We support Our Nation, We support the Constitution and We support the Liberties provided therein. Only wence we surrender those Rights...those Freedoms...do we lose America.

Sincerely,
The American Diest,

2011: The End of Oil Dependence?

A friend patched me an article from en.jyskebank.tv,

 - It regarded an economist from Canada, Jeff Rubin, who believed the current outrageous high price of gas in December/January was only going to display the same crises which occured during the former 'oil crisis' where there were lines of cars as gas pumps waiting for fuel that was even more then currently stated. When gas gets THIS high...one thing occurs, any preconcieved notion of 'globalization' experiences a premature demise because there's no business that can afford the transportation of goods and services outside thier current governing nation due to the staggering increase in oil/gas prices. It becomes moronic to even support such ideologies and manufacturing and business returns to the nations that previously saught to extradite thier production and labor elsewhere due to the disparity of the cost regarding shipping alone.
 - This, of course, is a GOOD THING for America...this ever increasing cost in oil/gas will inerrantly force the population to rely of local manufacturing/production (which we shouldn't have departed from in the first place...but that's just me) and seeking alternative fuels and/or means of transportation which should...if everything goes as hoped - the end of the oil industry in general. It should go without saying, of course, that we're really not running out of oil...it's just costing too much to get it from the Middle East. We currently have more then enough oil in the Gulf of Mexico to substantiate the entirity of the United States (plus, perhaps Mexico and Canada as well) and this isn't even touching the oil reserves on land in Texas and/or Alaska. We Americans are sitting on a supply that easily outstrips what the Middle East currently provides...the Middle East is not needed - only the corporations seeking thier resources cause this current problem: hence a need for new corporations as well, the ones currently available have outlasted thier use and need to be abandoned and go bankrupt (...and the Federal Reserve needs NOT to bail them out...they, like the Federal Reserve, have fullfilled thier use and are no longer necessary).
 - What needs done for 2011?...sincere efforts need to be made regarding greener energy - a real effort, not the facimile thereof. Next, new industry needs started in America...manufacturing (of course) needs restarted since it will be cost ineffective to resort to shipping merchandise from China. Third...China is going to be hit hardest by this, China will need help...we, the People, need to consider how we can proceed in shipping commodities to China to help them survive - we already do this, but we need to prepare for an overwhelming need for it since they will eventually be unable to afford a loaf of bread...China is about to hit the biggest Depression it's ever seen. We need to make sure what is not sent is money and insure that the Federal Reserve does not get involved along with the eventual deconstruction and abolishment of the Federal Reserve entirely...America has suffered it's last crushing debt accrued by a bank - the Federal Reserve has outlasted its purpose and needs shut down.
 - This year, 2011, America can stand firmly upon it's own two feet once more...this isn't fiction, it's fact. America has the food production capable of feeding more then it's own citizens. America has the natural resources to sustain itself without foreign involvment. All America needs is the men and women to not be afraid to work and return to the manufacturing industry once more to begin producing the merchandise required to provide luxuries, if not the most basic of human subsistance. This year, 2011, America will be strong once more...it will because it can, it can because all we, the People, need - is already available and all we need to do is get down to work and make it happen. This year, 2011, will be America's year...because thanks to the oil industry and the desire for corporations to induce globalization - they gave us no choice, we have to do this...or suffer worse then China. We, the People, have a choice...to stand tall - free and independent. We have the know-how, we have the skill, we just need the drive and commitment...let's make this happen in 2011...

Sincerely,
The American Deist,
