The Overpopulation Myth...,

The Socio-Economic Control Paradigm...,

 - As of late, I have heard many purport the belief that we are currently experiencing a problem with 'overpopulation'. I travel somewhat, not much, but to a significant degree whereas I've seen most of the United States. Ladies and Gentlemen, what we don't have...is a population problem - what we have is a CONCENTRATION problem...

 - This issue has been compounded by several factors which, if continually supported, will not see an end to said issue...increasing the degree of social pathology that currently already exists. Let's cover a few points so that we can attain a broader degree of understanding regarding this concentration problem is, why it exists and why it's continually perpetuated...

 - First of all, at the most basic level, is simply a matter of necessary resources. Centralized power and water make an erroneous profit encouraging more clients, though with current means of provision - outdated as they may be, the liklihood of a cataclysmic failure of said provisional facilities reaching critical mass becomes ever-increasingly self-evident. Anyone experiencing water-shortages and/or brown/blackouts know this is true. However...

 - Corporate-controlled centralized utility facilities did not become established only to lose any of the current existing client base...to do so would incur a loss in profit, therefore, it is imperative that as many as possible are kept dependent upon said provisional facilities. That means alternative means of resource acquisition techinques (...such as solar and wind...) are detrimental to corporate controlled centralized utility facilities and it is best to oppose/suppress said alternative acquisition techniques - enforcing concentration over even distribution of the population in general.

 - The second reason behind the current existing concentration problem is, of course, financial - jobs. In order for one to sustain oneself in today's current existing monetary-based society, one needs to be gainfully employed and jobs are scarce in rural America due to the recent outsourcing of manufacturing over the past few decades. In order to increase the liklihood of survival in a monetary-based economy, moving to urban locations is required...exhasperating the concentration problem. Establishing alternative, self-sustaining methods of resource acquisition would help establish jobs all over rural America, but please see the first clause for more information regarding thusly.

 - The overall wealth of a particular State is also dependent upon population concentrations as Local/State Legislatures are paid via taxation of thier citizenry. Hence, it is benificial to encourage the current existing concentration problem by having a greater amount of tax revenue available for Local/State Legislatures. Of course, Federal tax revenues cover all of the United States and does not compound the concentration problem...however, in order to even have any taxable revenue - there have to be jobs, so Federal taxation does not encourage the disbursement of population concentrations either...

 - The third reason (...quite suprisingly...) is political. With the current existing, albeit exceedingly outdated, 'electoral college' designed to be inherent within our political system, a State has as much influence in Congress as the State's existing population by the number of Representatives in The House of Representatives and the total number of electoral votes assigned to the respective States regarding Presidential elections. Therefore, in order to have a greater influence in Congress (...not to mention who gets elected as President...), States must find a way to maintain/increase population concentrations within thier State - California, Texas and New York are prime examples of this pathological concentration problem and why Local/State Legislatures do not want to encourage disbursement of said population concentrations...

 - Control of necessary resources, by either moderating it's distribution to contaminating current existing resources, along with requiring our society to be dependent upon a monetary system in order to survive compounded with living in locations where one hopes to have at least -SOME- influence in our political process in Our Nation is what is known as a 'socio-economic control paradigm' - a system designed to control the populace with (...or without...) thier consent.

 - It is made exceedingly, socially -UNACCEPTABLE- to consider alternative means of resource provision...why? To do so would inflict harm upon current existing, although outdated, methods of necessary resource acquisition...costing jobs and reducing the overall Gross National Product which is appended to verify the overall 'financial health' of a nation. To append self-sustaining means of resource acquisition is 'unpatriotic' because it is believed that establishing self-sustaining measures would ruin Local/State/National infrastructure via lack of tax revenue. Logical, self-sustaining measures that would benefit everyone are refuted in order to encourage the 'financial stability' of a land mass surrounded by non-existant borders.

 - Is there any logical reason...not financial, not political, not social...but -LOGICAL- reason why we shouldn't work towards a sustainable society?...where everyone can have access to all necessary resources for survival?...food, clothing, shelter...a -RELEVANT- education? We can because we -ALREADY- produce enough to provide for the current existing population of Our Entire Planet. The amount of food waste generated by the United States of America -ALONE- could feed every single impoverished nation on Our Planet...-TWICE- over. This...is...absurd...

 - It's not just America that produces an overabundance...third world nations produce enough clothing, annually, to leave no one on our planet without adequate provision via clothing as per thier current respective environment. This says nothing of the technological capacity we -CURRENTLY- possess in order to produce an -OVERABUNDANCE-. Hydroponic farming can elimate starvation globally...growing vertically instead of horizontally, saving thousands of acres wasted via current outdated farming practices and proceedures, eliminating the 'need' for costly petroluem-based pesticides in the process.

 - A majority of manufacturing is automated regarding complex products and production such as the food, cars and computers - the cell phone industry is a prime example of this. Despite the unregulated waste production being wisely marginalized/reduced...few to no human hands go into mass-production, so why is it that when we can produce an OVERABUNDANCE...-CONSISTANTLY-, that we have this glaring social disparity...and denial of access to necessary resources required for survival? Does it make any actual, logical sense?

 - Do we have an overpopulation problem?...-NO-, We DO -NOT-. What we have is a problem with the current existing monetary-based economy. The reason behind this is because if fiat currency is not circulated...Federal/State/Local Governments would have no tax revenue and an infrastructure based upon a monetary based economy -WILL COLLAPSE- if it tries to append the wellfare of it citizenry. Therefore, 'austerity measures' are ordained to incur the -REDUCTION- of the overall population, balancing the overall population with the current existing 'job market', which is where the insipid and boorish ideology of 'overpopulation' is derived...putting fiat currency (...which is based on -NOTHING- of actual value...) and the 'financial health' of Our Nation over the livlihood and future of Our...OWN...-CHILDREN-.

 - Despite the obvious direction we should be heading - the narrow-minded and short-sighted heads of industry, government and financial sectors want to maintain the current existing 'socio-economic control paradigm'...because -THEY- are supported by it and do not want to relinquish the current existing system because they enjoy manipulating the masses so that they do not have to 'pay to live' even though everyone else who is NOT in thier position -MUST-...or else.

 - We, actually, don't have to keep going this direction...we don't have to continue supporting this 'socio-economic control paradigm' (...such as the fractional reserve banking system which has been designed to acquire more then it distributes via 'interest'...). We -CAN- establish a self-sustaining society, but it takes a critical mass of awareness amongst the population...it takes understanding that life, in and of itself, is not based on the infrastructure of a nation but the health and wellfare of it's citizenry - a direction that is currently being abandoned for 'economic steps'.

Freewill, Determinism and Intellectual Dishonesty...,

 - I normally don't bother talking about things such as 'freewill' and 'determinism' because I side emphantically with those who support the ideology of 'freewill'...and as a proponent for science and the scientfic method, that may well seem to be an oxymoron because the one thing science does not or, in all honesty, cannot ascribe is what 'freewill'...actually...is.
 - Now, before I start, I'm going to go into a little elaboration as to what each one - 'freewill' and 'determinism' means. 'Freewill' essentially means that regardless of external and/or internal physical influence, we...as human beings, are capable of arriving at our own decisions. 'Determinism' means that there's no such thing as independent thought and all activities are derived from internal/external physical stimuli.

 - As an individual whom appends science, it would seem logical to support the ideology that we are products of our environment. In truth, as our brains are contrived of physical matter, it would be logical to conclude that all things can be assumed to derive from some sort of physical occurence. This is not entirely untrue because we see this everyday...those who suffer from hunger are compelled to find something to eat - in animals as in humans.

 - Environmentally speaking, an individual will establish thier perception and way of interacting with the world in general in accordance to how they were taught, raised and what they directly observed via experience. This can be seen amongst the innumerous cultures both past and present so this seems to reinforce 'determinism' - we are what we are raised and taught to believe. However...

 - Determinism does -NOT- explain unusual oddities such as 'altruism' and it most certainly does not explain such aberrant pathological horrors such as 'suicide'. Alas, some stoically believe that 'suicide' is, if not entirely, deterministic. I am astounded...-HOW- could something which requires an individual drive to terminate thier own life -EVER- be ascribed as 'deterministic' and how does 'suicide' -NOT- prove the existance of 'freewill'?!?

 - If we are going to assume that suicide is 'deterministic', we have to abide the governing factors which establish determinism...that being - a physical stimuli must be present in order to incur the physical drive to self-terminate since determinism does not allow for independent thought and suicide can be founded upon physical stimuli alone...

 - However, stimuli...in and of itself, MUST be -PRESENT- in order to be regarded pertaining to the target subject. The -ABSENCE- of said stimuli does -NOT- allow it to be regarded as a variable in psychological/scientific studies. Therefore, regarding the majority of all suicides...almost all have been committed when the individual was -ALONE-...-WHERE- was the physical stimuli to incur self-termination?!?

 - Answer: it wasn't present, because it wasn't there...hence, there was no physical stimuli and suicide is not, inherently, physically deterministic. There is something that lingers beyond the 'physical stimuli' that incurs the individual to self-terminate. In abusive family situations, the majority of those who commit suicide wait until the abusive family members leave...with the absence of abusive family members, the individual should via determinism (...due to the lack of abusive physical stimuli...), desire to live...-NOT- self-terminate.

 - Certainly, suicide may be considered to be a viable option to avoid -FUTURE- suffering, if said individual lives in an environment where suffering is prevalent...but that would allude to forethought and/or anticipation and that is not viable conceptually via determinism. However, that is the general opinion shared amongst a majority of all suicides cases in general - the belief that committing suicide was not just a means, but the -ONLY- means to avoid future suffering - acting upon an idea, -NOT- physical stimuli.
- The body, inherently, strives to function and live until a certain age whereas the body's ability to rejuvenate slows down unto eventual failure. This is elaborated under the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics via entropy...however, that does not change the fact that the body, in and of itself, contains no capacity to immediately self-terminate...the body, in truth, has remarkable means to preserve itself and it's functionality. The immune system is a prime example regarding thusly.

 - If our own bodies, when they are healthy, strive to rejuvenate and sustain itself...how could there be any physical stimuli that would incur intantaneously cell-death on a macroscale? Some unfathomable, elusive 'kamakazi-killswitch' apparently exists?...lurking out there, somewhere, with everyone's name on it that induces the desire to self-terminate? Even in a 'physically deterministic world', this simply would not be true and to append such an ideology is being intellectually dishonest...not to mention absurd.

 - I don't see any courses being taught in our public, private or college institutions regarding how to self-terminate...yet, suicide has been committed in such varied and unusual ways that it could almost be ascribed as 'artistic' by the way some have elected to 'shuffle off thier mortal coil'. They didn't just self-terminate in the most immediate and efficient means possible (...which would be logical in accordance to the First Law of Thermodynamics regarding the conservation of energy...), they 'exited stage left' with a bow and a flourish! They even 'go out with a -BANG-!', yet in a purely 'physically deterministic world'...this would be improbable.

 - So...is life 'deterministic'? To a point, yes, regarding basic human necessites. This has been generally accepted ever since Maslow concieved the 'hierarchy of needs'...but it is not -ENTIRELY- deterministic. There -IS- freewill because despite all the means and measures our physical bodies have at thier disposal to sustain itself and remain alive - we, as human beings, have the means and the capablility to completely override our own physical bodies inherent functionality to live and self-terminate -BY CHOICE-...

 - This is accomplished by violating the second law of thermodynamics, hastening the natural progression of cellular entropy from micro to macro, instantaneously. Human beings simply do not have to wait for our bodies to eventually fail due to the onset of old age and in a 'physically-deterministic world', we would only abide by the natural laws. In short, suicide would never become an option if life were strictly governed via determinism...but as we clearly know - such is not the case.

 - The fully-functioning and healthy body does not perish instantaneously, even an ailing and aged body takes a significant amount of time to cease functioning...those who elect to commit suicide, willfully and intentionally, -KILL IT-...they, in short, murder themselves. It is lamentable and should not be encouraged, but that remains to be seen in a society that strives to reject responsibility and accountability for thier own actions...appending strawman arguements like 'determinism' instead of being honest, rational human beings.

 - We have, inherent by our birthright, our lives and by what grace we have been granted the priviledge of these aforementioned conditions...I leave to philosophers. What I do know is that with this life, I have not only the will...but the responsibility and accountability of this life and everything that I elect to do with it. This is what the Founding Fathers of the United States of America decreed as being SELF-EVIDENT...and let none dare assume to take those most sovereign of rights - your life and your responsibility...from you.

 - You -ARE- free and -YOU- have the WILL to do whatever it is you append contemplating. You can even elect to no longer participate and depart: that is -YOUR CHOICE-...understand that, accept that because you have been granted that burden regardless...and it is up to you and you alone what you wish to do with it. The highest authority you have in your life is yourself - your destiny, your life...your very future...lies in -YOUR- hands, yours and no other. Stand up for your rights and shoulder your responsibilities with honour, integrity and excellence.

The War on Peace...

The War on  Peace   "Terror"...,

 - Senator Ron Paul doesn't believe in it, nor does an ever-growing number of Republicans. However, Mr. Bruce Ramsey - editorial columnist for the Seattle Times...does. Why?...what the hell is this so-called 'War on Terror'?!?

 - Mr. Ramsey believes 'America is in peril'...from who?!? Well, 'terrorists'... O.o?? Who...the fuck is 'a terrorist'? WHAT...is 'a terrorist'?!? With the inception of the NDAA, we have a vague generalization of what 'a terrorist' is...but, overall, there's no actual specification as to what 'a terrorist'...IS. In truth, by going over the NDAA list of characteristics given, it looks more to be a consciencious shopper...then 'a terrorist'.

 - So, instead of being a particular person in general that anyone can identify as 'a terrorist' looks to be someone who 'harbours ideas against America'. Who would that be? Are frugal shoppers who plan ahead having a week's worth of non-perishable food committing 'a terrorist act'? Is someone who supports thier First Amendment Rights...'a terrorist'? Is an editorial news columnist who doesn't support the NDAA...'a terrorist'? Is freedom of expression now 'an act of terrorism'? How far do we go?...How extreme do we get regarding this so-called 'War on Terror'?...

 - What are we doing? Have we gone insane? what are we talking about?...this is McCarthyism all over again, keeping the citizenry of the United States in perpetual fear of some hypothetical 'enemy'...'Be afraid of "terrorists"', Congress says. Well, I lost my 'fear of terrorists' when I grew up and stopped believing in 'the boogeyman', Congress...I don't see any logical reason to run around like a scared child again - it's called maturity, it's called being a responsible adult.

 - Am I saying that there are not people 'out there' who seek to cause me harm? No, I'm not saying that...Congress has proven that there -ARE- people out there quite willing and able to inflict harm upon every citizen of the United States of America. What I -DON'T- believe in is having them incarcerated, indefinitely, without trial based upon fear-trafficking, an emotional constraint - terror. Under the NDAA - ANYONE could be regarded as 'a terrorist'...even a child, everyone's children.

 - I've been thinking lately...is it really a 'War on Terror'. I don't believe that, why?...because it's not a 'War on Terror' - it's a War on PEACE! With today's technology...we have the means of establishing communication with everyone, everwhere On...Our...PLANET...and you will find ALL OVER THE WORLD a unified desire for -PEACE- and if this is so, then in order to maintain an excuse to perpetuate a massive military budget...WE MUST INVENT THE ENEMY!...and assume everyone could 'fit the description' via the fallacy of reasoning called PROFILING!

Am I now to be incarcerated without trial...indefinitely, because I don't believe living in a state of utter paranoia and perpetual delusion in -MY- version of 'The American Dream'? What if I want to brave and rational?...well, apparently via Congress...that is 'an act of terrorism'. We need to call is how we see it folks - this is a 'War on Peace', not 'terror'.

 - ...and if I am considered 'wrong' for believing thusly, then I want to be known as a 'Peaceist'. Hold me under THOSE charges, not 'terrorism' and I'll walk into my holding cell with my head held high. I will GLADLY be charged with 'peaceism' for I will -NEVER- support terrorism...because that is -EXACTLY- what the NDAA is - an act of terrorism against -EVERY- American citizen...

Capitalism Is Not A Renewable Resource...

 - There has been a lot of contention lately regarding necessary resources in general as they relate to basic human needs. This has become such a concern that demands for renewable resources have become a central driving point. However, despite the obvious necessity of such technological advancements in order to substantiate renewable resources in general, which -DO- exist...opponents to such ideologies have stated, time-and-time again, that such advancements would prove to be 'unfeasible'. The ideology behind these concepts being 'unfeasible' is due to the dramatic impact, which -WILL- occur, to the current existing economic model if such renewable technological resources were made available to the public. In essence, renewable resources are not feasible...in a monetary based economy.

 - Vertical hydroponic/aeroponic farming and/or aquaponic fisheries are one of such examples of renewable technological resources. Though clearly the next step in the agricultural industry, the very existance of this knowledge threatens to jeapordize the entire agriculture industry and the food market in general. Regardless of the construction cost of said facilities, farmers still employing 20th century (...or earlier...) proceedures that waste hectacres of arable land through the use of oil-based pesticides that poison soil and aquifer, fowl and fauna (...or worse, genetically modified stock whose nutritional value is questionable at best...) to find themselves unable to compete with modern means of food production. Why wouldn't they be able to compete?...glad you asked.

 - First of all, there's location...a vertical hydroponic/aeroponic farm and/or aquaponic fishery can be built in the very center of any city and any building can be converted into one. The taller the building, the more can be produced, which would make skyscrapers actually useful. Conveying fish/produce long distances would no longer be extensively necessary, hence, a drastic reduction in need for distribution/warehousing. Due to being enclosed, like a greenhouse, there would no longer be a need to spread costly oil-based toxins, inefficiently, for miles which would affect the oil industry that industrial pesticides are created from. Such enclosed locations would aid in managing water usage which is, likewise, vastly wasted under current existing farming methods. Even the cost of harvesting would be essentially eliminated as individuals could simply go and pick from what was available - freshness 100% guaranteed...

 - The only real problem with these facilities is how drastically the job market would contract. Being strategically placed would dramatically affect the distribution industry by location alone. The farming industry would also be significantly affected since it would be cheaper to grow vertically, eliminating the need to rely upon the sheer volume of industrial pesticides which would impact the profit of the oil industry (...not to mention the drastic reduction in need for water...). Due to the ability to grow all year round without additional requirements, the sheer volume of produced would radically tip the scales of supply regarding the food industry. Yes, paying jobs would be lost, but sheer volume generated would make food in general affordable to anyone...if not entirely free, due to the sheer abundance produced. This is a fact and has been proven by the company in Wisconsin called Growing Power (http://www.growingpower.org/) that managed to generate over a million pounds of produce along with over 10,000 tilapia fish on three acres of land - annually, and it's only a one-story facility.

 - Unfortunately, this is also where said facilities become regarded as 'unfeasible' for in a monetary based economy, even though such facilities are not impossible to attain (...again, please see Growing Power for more info...), it's just impossible to maintain any form of substantial, long-term profit and that is the premier reason why renewable technological resources are not widely accepted. Establishing renewable resources and creating abundance ruins a monetary based economy which derives market price value based on scarcity as per the economic law of supply and demand. If people have the means to acquire thier own power by way of utilizing solar panel system arrays, for example, besides the initial cost of resources to create and the occaissional maintenance thereof...it would be virtually impossible for any corporation to maintain consistant profit because you couldn't meter power usage so the only way to gain is to over-inflate the initial sale price (...much like the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price on vehicles...also known as the 'MSRP'...) which makes such technologies outrageously and unnecessarily expensive. Thus, our society today is kept reliant on outdated and blatantly hazardous methods of food production and power acquisition because it keeps the current existing monetary system 'stable' by ensuring scarcity...hence, reinforcing the 'law of supply and demand' that, technologically, we already possess the means to subjegate.

 - We are at a critical time where humanity, as a whole, needs to make a decision: Do we abandon logic and reason in order to preserve an archaic monetary based economy which incurs the needless demise of millions of innocent members of not only our own species, but every species on our planet, through the denial of access to necessary resources for life by either force or through the destruction/contamination of existing resources; or do we use our God-given reason and use our science and technology to ensure that -ALL- have that which the Founding Fathers of the United States fought and DIED believing in - that -ALL- have that which is ordained by Providence, unalienable and self-evident - the RIGHT to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness?...

 - ...Because it is ENTIRELY feasible...

 - ...Just not in a monetary based economy.

Life has "NO VALUE" (...an objective look at the monetary system...).

- As I continue to search for a sound, logical reason to support the current existing monetary based economy I stumbled across and editorial in the Seattle Times that professed that everyone should 'try and contribute to society ins some way'. I was astounded at the statement for it alluded to the ideology, perhaps unwittingly, that life (...in and of itself...) had...no...value. Far be it for me to discount such a claim...the writer of said article (...whom I will elect to keep anonymous...) I would regard as a myopic nihilist, but I wouldn't go so far as to consider said individual as having 'no value'. However, if an individual is not working and paying thier taxes...this is exactly what is being suggested - fiat currency has more value then life itself.

 - This, by all means, is not an isolated incident...tensions have been building in Europe over the tenable collapse of thier uniform fiat currency - the Euro and, as in America, immigrants are blamed for 'taking all the jobs' that the native citizens were simply unwilling to do in the first place. Now in Europe, as in America, social services provided on a State and Federal level (...funded via taxation...) are being overtaxed causing those who have been fortunate enough to NOT have thier jobs outsourced (...or taken over by those willing to do thier job for a lesser salary...) to despise those maintaining a tentative hold on life through the aid of said social services in the current depressed job market and, rather arrogantly, to expect them to 'try and contribute to society in some way' or are otherwise considered to have 'no value'...

 - I cannot help by note the absolute absurdity of such claims...HOW can and individual have NO VALUE when EVERYONE contributes simply just by being alive?! Even a comatose individual contributes simply through the act of breathing - taking in oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide which is vital and necessary for plants that, in turn, convert carbon dioxide into oxygen which makes up the atmosphere that we breath: EVERYONE CONTRIBUTES (...by default, unconsciously...) BY LIVING! I was told by an acquaintence (...whom I will also elect to keep anonymous...) that it was 'human nature' to take that which is 'free' for granted...I was amazed and wondered if he had a strong disdain for breathing...

 - Obviously, breathing is not the ONLY way everyone contributes by default of thier inherent nature...everyone thinks and conveys thier ideas through thier words and deeds. Quantum Physics was NOT founded in a University, it was founded by a Third Rank Postal Clerk by the name of Albert Einstein. Now not all ideas have a positive impact on the human condition as a whole, but NO IDEA has NO VALUE. Even bad ideas have value as a means to understand what NOT to do. For example: viciously beating someone until, fearful of thier livlihood, submit to violent non-consensual intercourse SHOULD be inherently understood as a BAD IDEA due to the psychological trauma inflicted upon the victim (...assuming they survived the incident...). However, some religious sects regard RAPE as a 'premarital ceremony' and that is a REALLY BAD IDEA. Rapists should be incarcerated for life in order to protect the general public from such aberrant sociopathic behaviour (...or have thier sex organs surgically removed...) but rapists, of course, would think THAT was a 'bad idea'. Unfortunately, in some States in America, a sex offender can pay a fee to be taken off of the sex offender watch list after just one year of not committing said offense and ANY rape victim or parent of a molested child would consider THAT...a bad idea.
 - Knowledge - ALL Knowledge - is Virtue" - Socrates, 469 BC - 399 BC.
 - I am inclined to agree for all ideas have value. What needs understood is what ideas are BENEFICIAL to the human condition as a whole. Dumping toxic waste into rivers and streams should be inherently understood as a BAD IDEA simply by the nature of what is being dumped - toxic waste. Just as patent suppression is employed to prevent technological advancement in order to maintain market share value of preexisting technology is a BAD IDEA...-REGARDLESS- of how much 'profit' a corporation stand to gain by doing so...

 - All life and all ideas have value; everyone actively 'contributes to society in some way' through word and deed by thought and breath; therefore, everyone inherently deserves access to the necessary resources required for life by default of thier inherent nature by being alive. To deny access to necessary resources for life by willfully polluting, contaminating or simply restricting access by force of said resources is murder, and to support aforementioned ideology is nothing short of appending tyranny...and as history has proven time and time again, THAT...is a bad idea.

 - Why do we insist on holding onto an outdated methodology of resource acquisition when we already know it is archaic and the cause of the vast a majority of issues occuring today? If a hammer is broken...it does little good to stand around and complain about the hammer and even less sense to keep trying to use the broken tool. What is needed is a newer, more applicable tool for the task at hand and that task being the provision of necessary resources to support life of humanity overall. There have been concepts already proffered. Please research the Venus Project and the Resource Based Economy for more information regarding thusly. Thank you for your time...

'Christianity for Dummies'

I have an emphantic dislike for hypocrites...,

 - Normally I'm not prone to religious debates, but I feel compelled to say that if there was anyone who's ever actually -READ- the Bible (...regardless of edited version...) that they would most likely feel the same way...which promptly explains why there are so few who actually despise the rampant amount of hypocracy which exists in today's society (...and that's only regarding the current existing political and religious leaders...).
 - I see biblical scripture taken out of context on a daily basis and employed to support one atrocity after another which has lead me to ponder whether or not there were, in all actuality, -ANY- 'Christians' in existance whatsoever. My contemplations were derived from my knowing of another (...whose name I elect to keep private...) who saught to commence forthwith 'The Great Commission'.
 - I was lead to believe the said 'commission' was all that was expected to be 'a Christian' - Matthew 28:19...

"Therefore go an make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..."
 - Some say that this is all that there is to know in order to be considered 'a Christian' and -THAT- is a flat-out lie - Matthew 28:20...

"...and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you..."
 - Oops, there's more? Yes, alas...there is more to 'Christianity' then trying to make disciples - you're supposed to obey 'the Commandments' and what, exactly, are these 'commandments'? Matthew 22:37...

"...Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind..."
 - ...-AND- (...yes, there is more...) Matthew 22:39...

"...Love your neighbor as yourself."
 - Compiled together, 'The Great Commission' encapsulates 'The Greatest Commandment', thus, the entirity of the Bible -AND- 'the commission' expected of -ALL CHRISTIANS- goes as follows...

"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you: Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and all of your soul and all of your mind; and Love your neighbor as yourself."

Foresoothe, Some Accuracy Please! (...i.e. - A Polite Call To Reason...)

 - None too long ago, I was engaged in a theological discussion regarding the errancy of favoring competition over cooperation. I believe the individual with whom I was engaged in conversation with was a conservative, of sorts, for it did not take very long for him to mention 2 Thessalonians 3:10, which goes as follows:...

"For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: 'If a man will not work, he shall not eat.'"

 - For FAR too long, this verse has NOT ONLY been taken out of context...it is inferred that anyone NOT competitively engaging in the so-called 'open market' today, deserve to starve to death. Let us break down the verse so that we may have an objective, not subjective, understanding of the idleness Paul warns of...

 - When Paul refers to 'we', he is speaking of himself as well as Silas and Timothy who accompanied him to the church of the Thessalonians - that, of course, is...or SHOULD, be understood. What is EMPHANTICALLY misconstrued is the part where Paul mentions 'you'. Often it is believed that Paul is addressing the downtrodden, the misfortunate, the impoverished, etc. Afterall, who are not the most idle save for those who do not earn their keep, correct? Well, the idea (...for the most part...) is, but the TARGET of said verse...is not. Paul was addressing, as stated at the very beginning of 2 Thessalonians in verse 1:1, the church of the Thessalonians.

 - We can find out even MORE accurately -WHO- Paul was addressing amongst the church of the Thessalonians by referring to 2 Thessalonians 3:9, which goes as follows:...
"We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to follow."
 - The 'help' Paul refers to is discussed in 2 Thessalonians 3:8 pertaining to being fed as they saught not to be a burden to the church of the Thessalonians, 'working night and day' so as to pay for their provision, THROUGH their labor, making themselves a model for the church of the Thessalonians to follow by NOT BEING IDLE. By 'right' Paul was stating that, as one of the prominent leaders of Christianity at the time, his position would've granted provision by default of said position - their working was subsequent and surplus to the requirement of their being provided for: being fed.

 - As a prominent leader of Christianity, Paul was not simply striving to make an example of himself to the laymen of the church of the Thessalonians - he was making an example of himself to the LEADERS of the church of the Thessalonians which can be further understood in 2 Thessalonians 3:11, which goes as follows:...
"We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy, they are busybodies."
 - Paul is VERY discerning with his wording, seeking not to heap condemnation, but to incur thoughtful reflection upon one's own actions. There is a vast difference between building a shelter then simply moving a single brick back and forth all day long. A leader doing nothing is bad...a leader PRETENDING to do something by engaging in activity that accomplishes nothing is Far, FAR worse - they are being hypocrites.

 - As Paul emphasized in 2 Thessalonians 3:9, a leader makes an example of themselves regardless of said position's inherent rights. A leader who is idle, or worse...a busybody, is a BAD EXAMPLE, REGARDLESS of whatever the leader may believe for they are making themselves, by their action (...or in this case, inaction...) for others to follow. Thus, when Paul stated, 'If a man will not work, he shall not eat', he was not making some generalized statement - he was speaking, as a leader, TO the leaders of the church of the Thessalonians as a warning not to append their positions as a right to attain provision whilst being idle, or worse, being a busybody and not working, being a burden, making a bad example of themselves by expecting provision via position without earning it...

 - Now what does that say about our society today where corporate CEO's and bank executives award themselves tens of thousands of dollars in bonuses annual (...if not quarterly...)? Has the provision they have been granting themselves been equivelent to the work they have accomplished...or are they being hypocrites awarding themselves provision, by right of position, being busybodies and not, truely, working (...hence, earning their provision...). I truely desire to see the itinerary of these select few who profess they have earned their keep, 'worked night and day' so as to not be a burden in order to make themselves an EXAMPLE for others to follow. So far, in my honest opinion, they have proven to be a BAD EXAMPLE, need their names noted, warned of their idleness and shunned (...at the very least...) until they understand what it is that...they...are...doing.

 - What about the poor?...the homeless? Are they not idle?...do they deserve not to eat? Let us remember whom Paul was speaking to...he was not talking to the poor, the homeless, the misfortunate and the downtrodden - he was talking to the LEADERS of the church of the Thessalonians. Under NO circumstance was Paul contradicting the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth whom professed it was a Christian's DUTY to feed the needy...for if there is one thing that is, beyond certain, that leaders are seldom...if ever...needy.

 - If the job market is depressed...is it the fault of those whom are laid-off regarding their condition?...or are we committing the logical fallacy of reasoning called 'blaming the victim'? If there are less jobs, and job opportunities, available then the current existing population, HOW can it be justified to allow these people to starve when it is by no fault of their own that they suffer thusly?...ESPECIALLY when our society today has the means to provide for EVERYONE...ON...OUR...PLANET. What, in the name of God, are we allowing to occur? There is no logical reason for this...

 - Let us be reasonable and understand one thing - the current existing socio-economic model has not, can not and WILL NOT be able to provide everyone on our planet with a job. To believe this is not true is to ignore recorded history, append delusion and condone the willful suffering and death of untold thousands...daily. There has ALWAYS been unemployment, there has NEVER been 100% employment...ever, it is a statistical impossibility. However, those who are impoverished are BLAMED for their condition and forced to suffer needlessly - the elderly, the handicapped, the uneducated...even though, through our CURRENT EXISTING science and technology - EVERYONE can be provided for...and more.

 - So this is what we have become...instead of tending to those in need, we give to those without lack. Instead of following the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, we do what is warned of - reject the spiritual ideology of God and worship the materialistic concept of money. It is not by emotional drive or religious fevor that I write these words, but through REASON that I have established what is now being read. This is an, unfortunate, truth...as long as we continue to append the current existing socio-economic system: We Are ALL -GUILTY- Of Mass-Murder...and unless we change our ways, we will continue to teach this aberrant Death Cult Of The Almighty Dollar...for generations to come...

 - There is a better way...please research the resource based economy concieved by Jacque Fresco, sponsored by the Venus Project which is advocated by the Zeitgeist Movement.

 - I would like to dedicate this time and moment unto you, my esteemable readers, by providing this entry purely unto you. Please feel free to submit any comment regarding whatever particular issue you have in mind and, as long as it abides within the parameters of civil discourse, I will earnestly seek to either provide an answer or relay your attentions towards another more well-versed regarding the subject matter in question.
 - Exceptionally complex and/or thought-provoking subject matter will, of course, recieve it's own inherent blog entry...the individual submitting the topic will be acknowledged regarding thusly. Again, my most sincere well-wishes unto those who have saught to inquire the issues at hand with a sincere desire to contemplate alternative resolutions...even if said resolutions come from an independent source.

Westboro Baptist Church, Freedom of Speech and the First Amendment...

Westboro Baptist Church...,

 - Where to begin...oh, I'm certain there's quite a few people who have some sincere 'choice words' to describe them. I, myself, happen to regard Pastor Phelps and his brood to be akin to what I regard as the 'lowest common denominator' employed to define a member of the human race. Still, even though the Westboro Baptists have precious little redeeming value...they did manage to do ONE thing that I am actually quite thankful for...let us take a look at the First Amendment of Our Constitution:...
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
 - In regarding the First Amendment, those whom seek to express themselves and petition (...in whatever fashion they feel needed...) are provided the RIGHT to do so...regardless of opposing opinion as that very same Amendment ensures that those whom do not approve can, likewise, express themselves in the same fashion as long as such gatherings are peaceful in nature. The mere fact that the Westboro Baptist protests are based upon religious views only ensures that their protests are even FURTHER protected by the Constitution for Congress can make no law prohibiting the free excercise of their religious beliefs (...as long as, of course, their religious beliefs do not inherently violate another person, their rights and/or their property unto which the essence of law is derived...).
 - Now, I have heard about a few incidences where some Westboro Baptists have come harm or their property (...such as their vehicles...) have become damaged. Lamentable as that may be, they should well know that wence they choose to engage in an activity...that they are ultimately accountable and responsible for their own actions and...if someone becomes so offended that they lash out against them...then perhaps it is up to Pastor Phelps to consider whether or not his Westboro Baptists are truely 'peaceably assembling' or merely inciting a riot. Thus far, it seems that the Westboro Baptists have come unto more grievance then support which makes me inclined to wonder exactly what their intentions truely are?...do they really seek the Rights due unto them via the Constitution of the United States or are they merely being sensationalistic?
 - Regardless of their motives, the Supreme Court ruled in their favor proclaiming that the Westboro Baptists have the Right to continue petitioning the funerals of former soldiers, homosexuals, celebrities and probably anyone else they can think of as it does not seem that they have any real clue as to who (...or why...) they're actually petitioning funerals in the first place. This, of course, is acceptable...if they choose to place their children in location whereas individuals are already emotionally stressed due to the loss of a loved-one who most obviously do NOT share the Westboro Baptist view then I guess they enjoy having their tires slashed and their children nearly run over as they do what they feel is their 'religious obligation to society'. For me, it simply means thus...

 - Thanks to the Westboro Baptist Church, I am STILL able to say whatever it is I feel compelled to say about them AND I have the legal Right to do so...

 - On top of that, anyone whom may feel compelled to express their opinion...can...without fear of being oppressed, their writings burned and their mouths gagged. That means that someone else (...who may well have something intelligent to say...) has the Right to say it and more people can gain from it than were the Westboro Baptists successful in having the First Amendment...amended.
 - I would like to issue forth a special thanks to the Freedom Riders (http://www.freedomridersusa.org/) for seeking to do exactly what the Westboro Baptists do - expressing themselves by following the Westboro Baptists around and obscuring the Westboro Baptists with massive American Flags so as to not cause those travelling along the funeral route undue duress by the Westboro Baptists annoying presence (...as well as playing Patriotic music to drown out the Westboro Baptists insipid and boorish chanting...). THIS is how you resolve someone with a differing opinion...you obscure them and drown them out until they are forgotten (...works in politics, anyways...they call it 'fillibustering'...).
 - To sum up, I'd like to see the Buddhists, Christians, Roman Catholics, Muslims and Jewish to get more involved...afterall, if what the Westboro Baptists do is TRUELY that offensive then why haven't there been a whole gaggle of opposing religious groups gathered in front of the Westboro Baptists extending praises and well-wishes for those of the recently fallen? It seems to me that at least the Westboro Baptists are willing to go out and actually EXPRESS their belief...why not follow thier lead? The Freedom Riders do...this is America where you CAN express yourself - so what are you waiting for? Find out where the Westboro Baptists are going next and express to them exactly what YOU think of them...just do it peaceably.

The Right and Wrong Way of Recalling a State Official...

Fellow Citizens of this Great Nation...,

 - We apparently have some individuals who do not wish to follow proceedure in regarding Our Elected Public Servants. We have those who seek Elected Public Positions via employing innappropriate means and methods of describing HOW said positions should be attained. We have individuals who clearly do not understand the method unto which firearms SHOULD be employed. Ladies and Gentlemen, today...we're going to discuss Recalling a State Official...
 - As to date, there have been NO State Officials Recalled from office...this is stated only as a means to inform the public that (at the current time and moment) this proceedure has not been employed successfully...what it does NOT say is that it does not work. I am inclined to believe that the lack of Elected Public Officials recalled is due to the uneducated citizenry unfamiliar with the process in order to remove an Elected Public Servant from office. Here is what it takes in order to proceed:

A state representative is put into office by voters from his home state. When those voters are unhappy with their representative's performance, they may call for a recall. It's a long and difficult process and there are certain steps that need to be followed to recall a state representative.

Instructions
  • 1) Consider the state you live in. Only 18 states allow their residents to recall their state official. If you live in one of these states, proceed with the recall of your state representative.
  • 2) Decide why you want to recall your state representative. In 7 of the 18 states allowing recall elections, you must meet specific grounds for recall. There is no such requirement in the other 11 states.
  • 3) Start petitioning. You'll need a significant number of signatures to recall your state representative. The number differs by state but is usually a certain percentage of voters in the last election.
  • 4) Know the time limits. You will only have a certain amount of time to circulate your petition anywhere from 30 to 180 days. Learn the rules in your state and abide by them.
  • 5) Vote in the recall election. If you get enough signatures on your petition, a recall election will be granted. The ballot will ask if you think the state representative should be recalled-vote "yes" here.
Tips and Warnings
  • The following are the 18 states where state representatives can be recalled: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and Wisconsin. The District of Columbia also allows recalls.
  • On the ballot of the recall election, some states simply ask if the state representative should be recalled. Others will hold an election during the recall. This fills the seat left open by the state representative who was recalled.
  • Part of the recall process is notifying the person being recalled and giving him a chance to respond. This is true of all 18 states although it happens at different times in the process.
 - Note: be it here known that even though only 18 States (thus far) allow for an Elected Public Servant to be recalled does NOT mean those will ONLY be the States. Contact your State Legislature and request for the authority to recall your State's Elected Public Servants, make it an issue and bring it up with either petitions and/or policies to be introduced in the upcoming elections. At the most extreme of occurences, know that an Elected Public Servant can be brought down on charges of TREASON if they fail in thier duty to thier constituents.
 - An Elected Public Servant is NOT a permenant position...it's only held by those who do thier job and thier BOSS, thier EMPLOYER is We, the People. They get paid by us through Our tax dollars...and it is through those tax dollars whom those Elected Public Servants are ultimately accountable for, and that is We, the People. It is Our responsibility to ensure that the Elected Public Servants are doing thier job and REMOVE THEM from office when they show themselves incapable of performing thier basic job functions via either Recalling them or (if sufficient proof permits) to bring to trail on the charge of Treason.
 - What We, the People, will NOT do...is take a firearm to a meeting held by an Elected Public Servant and proceed to open fire as if one is hunting quail. This is moronic, utterly devoid of reason and entirely side-steps the policies and proceedures Our Forefathers have set before us to resolve issues in a civil matter and only a CRIMINAL inviolates the law. We are BETTER then this, America...far better then this. I would like to take this time to express my sincere sympathy for those whom lost loved ones in Arizona as well as the near fatal shooting of Representative Gifford. This action commenced I equate no better then the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, John Kennedy and others...
 - We, the People, run this Nation and it is up to us to proceed forthwith and ACT like it. We carry forth with integrity, pride, self-assurance, honour. We elect Our Public Servants...We are Responsible for them. We have the means to remove them from office, hence, we are Accountable for them. We support Our Nation, We support the Constitution and We support the Liberties provided therein. Only wence we surrender those Rights...those Freedoms...do we lose America.

2011: The End of Oil Dependence?

A friend patched me an article from en.jyskebank.tv,

 - It regarded an economist from Canada, Jeff Rubin, who believed the current outrageous high price of gas in December/January was only going to display the same crises which occured during the former 'oil crisis' where there were lines of cars as gas pumps waiting for fuel that was even more then currently stated. When gas gets THIS high...one thing occurs, any preconcieved notion of 'globalization' experiences a premature demise because there's no business that can afford the transportation of goods and services outside thier current governing nation due to the staggering increase in oil/gas prices. It becomes moronic to even support such ideologies and manufacturing and business returns to the nations that previously saught to extradite thier production and labor elsewhere due to the disparity of the cost regarding shipping alone.
 - This, of course, is a GOOD THING for America...this ever increasing cost in oil/gas will inerrantly force the population to rely of local manufacturing/production (which we shouldn't have departed from in the first place...but that's just me) and seeking alternative fuels and/or means of transportation which should...if everything goes as hoped - the end of the oil industry in general. It should go without saying, of course, that we're really not running out of oil...it's just costing too much to get it from the Middle East. We currently have more then enough oil in the Gulf of Mexico to substantiate the entirity of the United States (plus, perhaps Mexico and Canada as well) and this isn't even touching the oil reserves on land in Texas and/or Alaska. We Americans are sitting on a supply that easily outstrips what the Middle East currently provides...the Middle East is not needed - only the corporations seeking thier resources cause this current problem: hence a need for new corporations as well, the ones currently available have outlasted thier use and need to be abandoned and go bankrupt (...and the Federal Reserve needs NOT to bail them out...they, like the Federal Reserve, have fullfilled thier use and are no longer necessary).
 - What needs done for 2011?...sincere efforts need to be made regarding greener energy - a real effort, not the facimile thereof. Next, new industry needs started in America...manufacturing (of course) needs restarted since it will be cost ineffective to resort to shipping merchandise from China. Third...China is going to be hit hardest by this, China will need help...we, the People, need to consider how we can proceed in shipping commodities to China to help them survive - we already do this, but we need to prepare for an overwhelming need for it since they will eventually be unable to afford a loaf of bread...China is about to hit the biggest Depression it's ever seen. We need to make sure what is not sent is money and insure that the Federal Reserve does not get involved along with the eventual deconstruction and abolishment of the Federal Reserve entirely...America has suffered it's last crushing debt accrued by a bank - the Federal Reserve has outlasted its purpose and needs shut down.
 - This year, 2011, America can stand firmly upon it's own two feet once more...this isn't fiction, it's fact. America has the food production capable of feeding more then it's own citizens. America has the natural resources to sustain itself without foreign involvment. All America needs is the men and women to not be afraid to work and return to the manufacturing industry once more to begin producing the merchandise required to provide luxuries, if not the most basic of human subsistance. This year, 2011, America will be strong once more...it will because it can, it can because all we, the People, need - is already available and all we need to do is get down to work and make it happen. This year, 2011, will be America's year...because thanks to the oil industry and the desire for corporations to induce globalization - they gave us no choice, we have to do this...or suffer worse then China. We, the People, have a choice...to stand tall - free and independent. We have the know-how, we have the skill, we just need the drive and commitment...let's make this happen in 2011...
